Oxycodone Pill Theft, Credit Card Frauds Top Lower Makefield Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has reported its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week in which several incidents focused around fraud.
These are the criminal incidents:

CREDIT CARD FRAUD —500 block of South Dove Road, reported at 9:33 a.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $29.

THEFT —500 block of West Trenton Avenue at CVS, reported at 7:06 p.m. The manager reported
Oxycodone pills missing since 2022 after an internal investigation. An investigation is ongoing.
Feb. 5
FRAUD —1600 block of South Crescent Boulevard, reported at 2:33 p.m. The complainant reported
receiving a phone call from an unknown person claiming to be from American Express. They were able to obtain personal information and create an Apple card for $10.
Feb. 3
THEFT —800 block of Slate Hill Road, reported at 9:29 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) hacked their email and locked it. They purchased a phone, and then switched the victim’s phone number over to it. They then removed $2,000 from the victim’s bank account via the victim’s Venmo app.
Feb. 2
CREDIT CARD FRAUD —1200 block of University Drive, reported at 10:58 a.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $1,078.92.
IDENTITY THEFT —500 block of Hearthstone Drive, reported at 2:25 p.m. The complainant
reported unknown person(s) opened an AT&T account in their name.
