LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will be performing guide rail construction on Route 32 (River Road) starting Monday with the project lasting nearly a month, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, Nov. 27, through Friday, Dec. 22, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday periodic lane closure is scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) between Robinson Place and Woodside Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
