Sign Structure Demolition, Line Striping In Lower Makefield Twp.
PennDOT plans periodic lane closures and traffic delays for motorist from Monday through Friday.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A sign structure demolition Monday and line striping through Friday will have motorists experiencing some traffic delays in the township.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that sign structure demolition will take place on Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) under a local safety improvement project.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, August 7, through Tuesday, August 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., periodic traffic paces will be in place on eastbound Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) between Stony Hill Road and the Interstate 295 Interchange.
Also, starting Monday through early September, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Taylorsville Road between Taylorsville Road over Dyers Creek and Route 32 (River Road) in Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield townships for milling and paving.

Meanwhile, a lane closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday on Heacock Road/Oxford Valley Road/Bristol Oxford Valley Road/Bath Road/Bath Street between Stony Hill Road and Otter Street for line striping.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
