The likelihood of Saturday night snow is increasing, with forecasters now providing snowfall total estimates for across the Philadelphia region.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the weekend, saying a "quick moving storm system" is headed our way Saturday through early Sunday. The storm is expected to produce wintry precipitation, with the bulk of it happening on Saturday night.

Accumulating snow is expected, the National Weather Service said.

Current predictions by that agency predicts between two and three inches will fall in the Philadelphia region, however, total accumulation amounts are "highly dependent" on air temperatures, precipitation intensity and ground temperatures.

Temperatures for Saturday night are expected to drop to the low 30s. Things will likely clear Sunday, when sunshine and highs in the upper 40s are predicted.
