Theft From Vehicles, Fireworks Citations Top Morrisville Crimes

The Morrisville Police Department released its recent blotter of criminal incidents.

MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville Police Department reported its police blotter of criminal incidents from Dec. 27 through Jan. 23. Among them were multiple thefts from vehicles and a few fireworks citations.

Here are the criminal incidents:

Theft – Dec. 30, 2022, 6:49 p.m. —Report of a license plate stolen off of a motor vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot on the 400 block of Plaza Boulevard. Value: $50

Arrest/Public Drunkenness —Dec. 31, 2022, 12:23 a.m. —A 46-year-old Morrisville resident was cited for public drunkenness after a report of a vehicle blocking the roadway on the unit block of East Bridge Street.

Arrest/DUI/Warrant —Jan. 1, 12:57 a.m. —A 40-year-old Morrisville man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence on the 400 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue and for an active warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff's. He was processed and released to the Sheriff’s Deputies.

Warrant/Aggravated Assault —Jan. 5, midnight —A warrant was issued for a 31-year-old man for aggravated assault and related charges for a domestic incident that occurred on the unit block of Robertson Avenue.

Arrest/DUI —Jan. 5, 12:12 a.m. —A 34-year-old woman was arrested for Driving under the Influence after a traffic stop on East Trenton and North. Delmorr avenues. She was released and will be processed at a later date.

Fraud —Jan. 5, 11:55 a.m. —Report of a vehicle broken into in Hamilton, N.J., but nothing was stolen. The credit card may have been cloned and used to purchase merchandise at a business on the 200 block of East Bridge Street.

Arrest/Receiving Stolen Property —Jan. 5, 12:59 p.m. A 35-year-old man will receive a summons to appear for receiving stolen property after pawning a pair of AirPods. The owner was able to track the AirPods to a business on the 300 block of West Bridge Street. Police retrieved the AirPods and returned them to the owner.

Arrest/Warrant —Jan. 5, 7:09 p.m. —A 39-year-old man came to police headquarters to turn himself in for an outstanding fugitive warrant. He was processed and released.

Arrest —Jan. 6, 5:26 p.m. A 35-year-old man was arrested by Bensalem Police for an outstanding warrant from this police department. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Attempted Burglary —Jan. 8, 11:53 a.m. —Report of an attempted break-in at a business on the 500 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue. Damage was evident on the two steel doors in the rear of the building.

Arrest/Narcotics Possession —Jan. 11, 8:17 p.m. —A 27-year-old woman was arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop on West Trenton Avenue. She also had an outstanding warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department. She was processed and released to the Bucks County Sheriffs.

Arrest/Stolen Property —Jan. 11, 8:17 p.m. —A 33-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop for operating a vehicle with a stolen license plate on West Trenton Avenue. He was processed and released.

Criminal Mischief to Building —Jan. 12, 9:05 p.m. —Report of a BB gun shot at a sliding glass door on the 200 block of West Bridge Street.

Arrest/Warrant —Jan. 14, 5:41 p.m. —A 19-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Bristol Township Police during an incident at a business on the 300 block of W. Bridge Street. He was brought to police headquarters and released to the Bristol Township Police.

Arrest/Harassment —Jan. 14, 6:53 p.m. —A 31-year-old woman was cited for harassment for a domestic incident on the 500 block of Woodland Avenue.

Arrest/Borough Code —Jan. 14, 7:07 p.m. —A 39-year-old man was cited for use of consumer fireworks on the 500 block of Elbridge Road.

Arrest/Warrant —Jan. 16, 10:34 p.m. —A 35-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department during a traffic stop on the unit block of South Pennsylvania Avenue. He was brought to police headquarters and released to the Bucks County Sheriffs.

Theft From Motor Vehicles —Jan. 17, 7:56 a.m. —Report of multiple vehicles broken into overnight at Jules Tires on the 500 block of West Bridge. A man entered the vehicles and stole vehicle batteries and a dash camera.

Retail Theft —Jan. 20, 8:21 p.m. —Report of three cartons of cigarettes were stolen from the 7-11 on the unit block of South Pennsylvania Avenue. A man, wearing a long-sleeved shirt, black shorts, black hat, and black sneakers, fled in a gold Buick LaCrosse.

Arrest/Borough Code —Jan. 20, 10:10 p.m. —A 19-year-old man was cited for use of consumer fireworks in the LaVilla Pizza parking lot on South Pennsylvania Avenue.

Arrest/Narcotics —Jan. 20, 11:17 p.m. —A 20-year-old man was arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop on North Delmorr and East Maple avenues. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Criminal Mischief to Building —Jan. 21, 3:15 p.m. —A 75-year-old Morrisville man will be cited for breaking a front window and another pane of glass on a home on the unit block of Lenora Avenue.
