Yardley Beer Fest Set For May 11

Organizers say 55 breweries, both local and national, will be on hand in 2019 for the 12th annual Yardley Beer Fest.

YARDLEY, PA — More than 50 craft breweries from across the country will be on hand for the 12th annual Yardley Beer Fest, coming up in May.

The festival, one of Bucks County's most popular annual events, is set for Saturday, May 11, at Fitzgerald Field, on South Delaware Avenue overlooking the Delaware River. It will run from noon-4 p.m.

Organizers say that 55 breweries, both local and national, will have their wares on hand for the 2019 festival, from light lagers to hearty imperial stouts. There also will be live music, food, games and other activities at the festival.

A large tent on site will mean the festival will go on, rain or shine, organizers say. No children or pets will be allowed and organizers will provide mugs, meaning no outside cups are allowed.

Event organizers will be checking IDs for admission to ensure attendees are at least 21 years old and they say no one visibly intoxicated will be allowed to leave. They recommend having a designated driver or using a ride service like Lyft or Uber.

Yardley Beer Fest is sponsored by the Yardley Business Association.
