The Yardley Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 28.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m. at Dolington Road and N. Main Street and heads south on Main Street towards the Septa Station Parking Lot.

Kids and parents are invited to decorate their bicycles, tricycles, big wheels, non-motorized scooters, roller blades, strollers, wagons and join in at the end of the parade, according to information from the borough.

"Kids and parents can either join us at the start and ride the entire route or jump in any time along the parade as it travels down Main Street," according to information shared by Yardley Borough.

Every rider, except those sitting in wagons and strollers, must wear a helmet.

A Memorial Day ceremony is scheduled earlier the day starting at 9 a.m. at the Yardley Memorial Monument (Afton and Delaware avenues). The keynote speaker will be retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Peter Guidotti, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.
