Yardley Police Seek Car Break-In Thief

YARDLEY, PA — Police in Yardley are looking for a man they say broke into an SUV recently and stole a wallet.

The theft happened Saturday, Aug. 31, in a private parking lot on Reading Avenue. According to police, the thief got out of a black SUV, smashed the passenger-side window of another and took a wallet that had been left out on a seat.

He then got back into his own vehicle, which had a New York license plate and heavily tinted windows.

Yardley Borough Police shared security-camera photographs of the vehicles in hopes someone may have seen something and will come forward with information. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact police at 215-493-2782, Ext. 404 or email contact@yardleypd.org.
