Yardley Police Seek Driver Who Hit 10-Year-Old
The driver stopped and checked on the girl, but she was later found to have an injury, according to police.
YARDLEY, PA — Police in Yardley are seeking a driver they say hit a 10-year-old girl who was crossing Main Street on a scooter.
The collision happened on Wednesday, June 26 at about 12:4o p.m. on South Main Street between the firehouse and South Street. Police say the girl was crossing the street with her brother when the front wheel of her scooter was struck by a passing car.
The driver pulled over and spoke to the girl and her brother, who said they were OK. The girl then returned home, where she was found to have a minor injury, according to police.

The vehicle is described as an older model sedan or coupe, gray or silver, and driven by a man who was about 40 years old. He had a female passenger with red hair who was probably between 15-20, police said.
