2 RI Men Arrested In FL After Stealing Ferrari At Gunpoint In Cranston
The suspects were identified as Jonathan Costa, 20, of Cranston, and Logan Slezak, 18, of Pawtucket.

CRANSTON, RI — Two Rhode Island men have been taken into custody and a stolen Ferrari was recovered in Florida after a targeted home invasion in Cranston overnight Saturday, according to police.
The home invasion occurred on Crest Drive, where the residents reported that two masked suspects — identified as Jonathan Costa, 20, of Cranston, and Logan Slezak, 18, of Pawtucket — entered through an unlocked door armed with handguns and demanded the keys to a 2018 Ferrari Spider convertible parked in the garage and a Chevy Corvette.
"It was clear that the suspects had intimate knowledge about the residence and the vehicles they were seeking," Cranston police said, adding that one of the suspects "had an indirect connection to one of the residents."

Police continued: "The keys were turned over, and the suspects left in the Ferrari. The Chevy Corvette was located undisturbed nearby, where the owner had parked it."
Officers spotted the stolen Ferrari in Cranston on a security camera the day after the incident but were unable to find it after arriving at the scene, according to authorities. A bulletin about the stolen Ferrari was shared with surrounding police departments, and on Monday evening, an officer saw the vehicle and engaged the driver in a chase that eventually involved several officers and crossed states.

Finally, officers with the Flagler County Sheriff's Department in Florida saw the Ferrari after receiving an alert from a license plate reader and attempted to pull it over. Another chase, which involved a helicopter, began, and the suspects were eventually tracked to a local home with the Ferrari hidden under a tarp.
Costa was immediately taken into custody, and Slezak was taken into custody in Rhode Island shortly after.
No additional information was immediately available.
