Rivera is a Cranston resident, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a media release, and the other three live in Providence.

The four men conspired to steal a Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk and cash in November 2022 "by means of actual and threatened force, violence, and fear of injury," according to the federal indictment.

The indictment also says they "did unlawfully and willfully seize, confine, kidnap, abduct, and carry away" their victim from Massachusetts to Rhode Island.
