Stop & Shop is offering customers a 10% discount after a cybersecurity incident, according to reports.
The discount applies to this weekend and comes after a cybersecurity issue resulted in the grocery store chain's app and website going down, WJAR 10 NBC reported.
As of Friday afternoon, Stop & Shop's website showed that the "website and app are currently unavailable and we're working to restore services as quickly as possible."
The site thanks customers for their "patience and understanding" and directs them to shop via DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats.
Stop & Shop President Roger Wheeler said there is no evidence to show customer data was compromised in the cybersecurity incident, according to WFSB 3-TV.
Wheeler goes on to say that stores, pharmacies and gas stations remain open and that "our team is working around the clock to resolve this as quickly as possible."
A 10% discount for all shoppers up to $10 off remains in effect until Thursday, Oct. 22.
