Rhode Island residents can cast their ballots in person ahead of the Nov. 3 general election, with in-person early voting available in all municipalities across the Ocean State.
State law requires that cities and towns provide early voting ahead of a statewide or federal election.
"This is a great option if you are unable to vote at your usual polling place on Election Day, or if you have run out of time to request a mail ballot," according to the Rhode Island Secretary of State's Office.
Voting hours and locations vary by community.
A list of early voting locations and hours in each city and town can be found here.
All registered voters are eligible to vote early and do not need to preregister or provide a reason for voting early.
"In the 20 days leading up to Election Day, you can vote in person at your city or town hall or at a designated location during regular business hours," the secretary of state's office said.
The voter registration deadline was 30 days before the Nov. 3 election.
