Planning on traveling this Thanksgiving weekend?
Well, you're in luck, as the weather will be mostly favorable in Rhode Island, according to the Farmers' Almanac.
There will be a chance of flurries, the Farmers' Almanac forecast predicts, but otherwise is going to be cool and mainly fair from Nov. 23-26.
If you're thinking of heading to the Midwest for the holiday, you might want to think again, as the "region leans colder and more winterlike, with scattered snow showers or flurries possible," according to the Farmers' Almanac.
"While a blockbuster storm is not currently indicated, some brief travel slowdowns could develop where snow showers pop up," the Farmers' Almanac says.
Snowbirds looking to travel south should have no problem, as the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic's mostly favorable weather turns "generally mild and pleasant" along the way, "with a good chance of dry weather and plenty of sunshine for parades, football, backyard gatherings, and road trips."
