Some of the coldest air of a very harsh winter will hammer Rhode Island this weekend as fans across New England make their final preparations for the big game on Sunday night.
The cold will be preceded by snow Friday night as the temperatures drop and about a half inch of snow falls across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
