'The Conjuring Home' To Host Some Spooky Themed Events For Halloween
The 2013 horror film the "The Conjuring" was filmed in Burrillville at 1677 Round Top Road and has a reputation for paranormal activity.

BURRILLVILLE, RI — "Hocus Pocus 2" isn't the only Halloween-themed movie filmed in Rhode Island. In fact, the state has seen much spookier.
The 2013 horror film the "The Conjuring" was filmed in Burrillville at 1677 Round Top Road and has a reputation for paranormal activity. And during the Halloween, season, the house will be the home of several spooky events to honor the film and excite ghost enthusiasts throughout New England.
First we got the main event, a watch party of "The Conjuring," with main character Andrea Perron. The horror movie follows the Warrens as they work to rid the home of spirits that have haunted the house for years.

The Oct. 30 showing is already sold out, but there's still tickets available for the Halloween showing. See all the spooktacular events happening at "The Conjuring" house this Halloween season:
- "The Conjuring" Watch Party. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Oct. 31
- Witching Hour Ghost Hunt, Oct. 28, 29, 30
- After Dark Spooky Tour, Oct. 28 and 29
- 1-Hour House Tours, Oct. 28-31
"The Conjuring" house was sold last May.

The previous owner, Cory Heinzen, bought the houseand property for more than $400,000 and has been using it to rent out to fans. He ended up selling it to Boston contractor Jacqueline Nuñez for $1.5 million.
The Heinzen family and Nuñez announced the sale on Facebook Live, in the "seance room," which was a pivotal background where Ed and Lorraine Warren were called in to drive away the spirits in 1973.
According to the Facebook live post, Nuñez agreed to continue the haunted business that the Heinzens started. The Heinzens will remain involved.
