Decomposing Body Found In Woods Near T.F. Green Airport

WARWICK, RI — A body was found in the woods near T.F. Green International Airport Tuesday.

Police said the body was found just before 4:30 p.m. near 1960 Post Road, which is an airport parking garage.

Police said the body was "in the late stages of decomposition" and was likely there for a while. It's not known yet if the person was a man or woman.

The cause of death has also not been determined. The Rhode Island Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the cause of death, police said.
