New Reality Show Seeking Engaged Rhode Island Couples For $1K A Day
"Marriage Box" plans to put engaged couples in a distraction-free pressure cooker, with the winners receiving a $10,000 honeymoon.
A new reality show is looking for engaged couples from Rhode Island to make $10,000 a day while competing for a $10,000 all-expenses-paid honeymoon.
"We’re currently casting engaged couples for Marriage Box, a new high-stakes relationship social experiment hosted by Terrence J and produced by Green Leaf Productions for a premium streamer," reads a media release touting the new show.

Along with Rhode Island, other "priority states" targeted for prospective couples were Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts and West Virginia.

While the show is offering couples $1,000 per day to compete, the money may not be easy to come by.
"Each episode places three engaged couples into a five-day, distraction-free pressure cooker — no phones, no outside contact — where real conversations, emotional blind spots, and unexpected truths put their relationship to the ultimate test before marriage," the release said.

The couples will live together in "fully equipped RVs" as the production is filmed in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, according to the release.

Prospective couples can apply here, but must be prepared to answer such questions as, "What makes your relationship unique, unconventional, or different from most couples?" and "Do you or your partner have any potentially offensive tattoos?"
