Police Looking For Help Finding Warwick Bank Robber
The Harbor One Bank at 3830 Post Road in Warwick was robbed Tuesday morning, according to police.
WARWICK, RI — Warwick police have asked for the public's help finding a man they said robbed a Harbor One Bank on Tuesday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., police were called to the Harbor One Bank at 3830 Post Road. Two employees told officers they secured themselves in the vault after providing an undisclosed amount of cash to the bank robber.
Police said there were no customers in the bank during the robbery.

Upon police arrival, it was unclear if the suspect was still at the bank, as the employees in the vault could not confirm the suspect had left. Police confirmed the suspect was no longer in the bank and that the bank was safe.
According to the employees, the robber entered the bank and passed a note demanding cash. The suspect did not say anything and didn't show a weapon. One of the employees provided the suspect with the cash, at which time the two employees retreated to the vault, fearing for their own safety.

Police described the suspect as a heavyset white or light-skinned Hispanic man. He was about 5 feet, 7 to 5 feet, 8 inches tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap and a face covering.
