Rhode Islanders are apparently the most fun people in America, according to a recent study.
Rhode Islanders are apparently the most fun people in America, according to a recent study.
"According to a November 2025 report on American social life, Rhode Island residents love going out the most in the country," said a press release accompanying the results of the study conducted by financial technology company SensaPay.
"Rhode Island has the largest going-out culture in America, with residents spending over $500 per month on restaurants alone," according to the release.

On top of that, the average spending of a Rhode Islander on live entertainment is $143 a month, with 52% attending a live performing art event in a given year and 46% catching a movie in a month, the study revealed.
