Thunderstorm Looming In Rhode Island

There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm in Rhode Island this week.

Sunny skies to start the week will give way to clouds and then showers with a slight chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 50-50 chance of more rain Thursday, the National Weather Service forecast said.

Despite the rain, Thursday will be sunny with a high temperature of 76 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast calls for more sunny skies Friday with a high near 71, but a chance of showers Friday night and a low around 51 degrees.
