100 Best Schools in Rhode Island

BARRINGTON, RI — The list of 100 tops schools always fuels a little controversy, but this 2017 compilation had few surprises. The usual suspects make the list of A+ schools.

The Cranston Public Schools did better than the other urban communities but did not break into the top 100. And the Rhode Island School for the Deaf did relatively well, but also did not break into the list of best schools.

Here are the rankings.

From 1 to 11, the schools were graded A+. Then from 12 to 47, the grade was a straight A; the A- schools are ranked from 48 to 75: the 76th best school earned a B+, which was the lowest grade any of the top 100 schools earned.

The rankings were compiled by niche.com, and the site claims to combine data analysis with people's reviews. What do you think about their rankings?
