All You Need to Know About School Lunches

Barrington schools start next week. Are your children ready to eat lunches offered by Chartwells?

Barrington schools start next Monday, Aug. 27. Are your children set up with the school lunch program offered by Chartwells?

Daily prices for lunch are $2.60 for elementary students and $2.85 for middle and high school students. The daily price for breakfast is $1.10.

Or you can buy lunch weekly at $13 for elementary students and $14.25 for middle and high school students.

There are several ways to pay.

Option 1: You may prepay online using the MyNutrikids website. There is a link on the district’s website for you to set up an account.

Option 2: Place monies in a sealed envelope with the child’s name, teacher’s name and amount enclosed clearly marked. Please indicate whether monies are for lunch or milk. Checks should be made payable to Barrington Public Schools. Please note child’s name on the check.

To make the process more efficient, according to Chartwells, it would be helpful if prepayment for the entire week or month could be made on Mondays. Then, your child’s account will be debited when they make a purchase.
