Investigators say concerns raised by a Barrington student's parent in May led to a broader probe involving local police and federal agencies, with allegations that he posed as an FBI agent to manipulate minors online.
   

• If bus drivers strike, Barrington Public Schools have a plan (eastbayri.com) — Barrington Public Schools have laid out detailed contingency plans in case First Student bus drivers strike next week, and classes will remain open even if regular buses stop running. Families are urged to prepare for heavier traffic, flexible arrival times, and new drop-off and pickup procedures at every Barrington school, with absences and tardiness excused for transportation issues.
