Andrew Anderson and Nicholas Sayegh, both Eagle Scouts from Troop 6 Barrington, recently created trails as part of their individual Eagle projects. Each scout is required to complete a community service project as a requirement to obtain one of scouting’s highest honors, the rank of an Eagle Scout. The trail starts in Veterans Memorial Park, winds behind the YMCA and exits onto the bike path. The project was sponsored by the Barrington Land Conservation Trust and the Town of Barrington. The result of their personal effort, the support of their sponsors and the hard work of the troop volunteers was a well constructed trail that provides a safe pathway for local residents to hike and enjoy the outdoors.
