Barrington Community Theatre Winter Session Enrollment!

Barrington Community Theatre is a program for students grades 3-12 where youth learn about theatre by doing.

Youth are cast in 1 or 2 plays which rehearse 1 hour a week each. This hour will generally be on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (with the exception of when it must be rescheduled, it will be the same hour and day each week). The week before the show, the actors will be called more due to tech week.

Performances are March 13 and 14 and will be at the Barrington Public Library Auditorium.

Barrington Community Theatre prides itself on being a supportive, accepting, nurturing environment which encourages participants to explore and grow - both as performers and as individuals. We strive to help inspire confidence and foster support and friendship among our participants (who we are incredibly proud of!)

Auditions (which does not determine who gets a part but rather helps directors give actors roles that will both suit their abilities as well as offer them a challenge to help them grow) are December 15-17 at the Barrington Middle School Auditorium from 6pm-8pm. Actors are asked to plan to be there for as much of this as possible so that they can read for as many parts as possible. We also ask that performers prepare a short (1 minute or less) monologue or poem to present.
