Barrington Exec Promoted at RI PBS

Debra Hall of Barrington has been named the director of corporate relations at Rhode Island's Public Broadcasting Station, WSBE.

The announcement of Hall’s promotion came from Rhode Island PBS President and CEO David W. Piccerelli of Barrington on Monday afternoon, Sept. 24. Hall was an underwriting account executive with WSBE before her promotion.

In her new role, Hall will cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with corporations and corporate foundations, to support the mission and goals of WSBE Rhode Island PBS, Piccerelli said.

"I'm proud to welcome Debby to the management team,” he said. “Her commitment to Rhode Island PBS and our mission, paired with her knowledge of corporate philanthropy, make her a persuasive advocate for local public broadcasting."

Before joining Rhode Island PBS in 2011 as an underwriting account executive, Hall operated a scheduling business serving the financial services industry. She also was vice president, key account manager at Putnam Mutual Funds in Boston.

Hall is an honors graduate of Tufts University in Massachusetts.
