Barrington Execs Voted Partners in Marketing Firm

Jeremy Duffy and Michael Silvia, marketing and advertising executives at Duffy & Shanley, are now partners.

Two Barrington residents have been voted partners in one of Rhode Island’s top marketing and advertising agencies, Duffy & Shanley in Providence.

Jeremy Duffy, vice president of business development, and Michael Silvia, creative director, represent the talent and depth of the firm, according to Jon Duffy, president of Duffy & Shanley.

“Jeremy and Michael are exceptional marketing communications professionals with diverse experience and backgrounds, bringing deep knowledge and expertise to the table,” said Duffy. “I am very proud of our work and our unique ability to create ideas that make consumers talk about our clients' products and services. I am confident the next generation of leaders at Duffy & Shanley will continue our success."

As vice president of business development, Jeremy Duffy leads marketing and business development efforts as the agency. Previously, he held the position of director of sports marketing, establishing a division at the firm in 1998.

Before joining Duffy & Shanley, Jeremy Duffy was a partner at Craigville Sports Associates, a sports event marketing and management firm.

As creative director, Silvia is responsible for the day-to-day management of the agency’s creative product and is the force behind notable agency campaigns for Foster Grant, Fox Sports Net, Staples and others, Duffy said.

He is a frequent judge at advertising award competitions around the country, has worked with brands like Nike, Burton, P.E.T.A., and Celebrity Cruises, and has served as a creative consultant to Coca-Cola’s Sprite brand, Duffy said.

Duffy and Silvia join existing partners Jon Duffy, president; Bob Hart, chief financial officer; Peter Marcionetti, chief creative officer; and Karen Shuster, vice president and media director.
