A Barrington native, Lance Cpl. Sam Chrupcala, is a squad automatic weapon gunner with the team that recently instructed Afghans to learn marksmanship from Scout Snipers, according to Amanda Pacheco, a Marines Media Relations Specialist.

The tests require soldiers to scan a field and identify as many hidden military objects as possible, in a 30-minute time limit. Click here for the complete story.
