BARRINGTON, RI — The fire department put out a brush fire on April 17. Police charged four people over the week. Here are the recent incidents and arrests from the police log.
April 17
Engine 1 and Ladder 1 responded to a brush fire at 3:44 p.m, near the Primrose Hill School on Middle Highway. They cleared the scene around 4:16 p.m.

Gevon A. Nash, 26, of Warren, turned himself in at 6:31 p.m. He was wanted on a bench warrant from Sixth District Court.
April 23

Frank Costa, 27, of Fall River, Mass., was taken into custody at 8:21 p.m. after police stopped his car near the intersection of County and Old County roads. He was wanted on a bench warrant from Sixth District Court.
Luiz C. Pimentel, 22, of Warwick, was arrested at County Road after police responded for a disturbance at 11:46 p.m. He was charged with Domestic Vandalism (Malicious Injury to Property).
April 24
Turell G. Finona Boyd, 23, of Warren, was given a summons at a car stop at County Road and Waseca Avenue at 5:54 a.m. He was charged with Driving Without a License (or on an Expired License), first offense.
