Barrington Hoops 6th Graders Take Down Hopkinton MA

Barrington’s 6th Grade Blue team defeated Hopkinton at the Mass Premier Courts in Mansfield MA on Sunday, 46-37. The Eagles had a solid lead the entire game and were up by as many as 20 points during the contest.  Barrington was led on the floor by high-scorer Jon Adamson, who posted 12 points and was great on the boards.  Will Rywolt managed the floor well at point guard, consistently breaking the Hopkinton press while hitting three of five from 3-point range and finishing with 9 points.  Guard Ryan Bonneau was a beast under the basket, pulling down most of the team’s rebounds on his way to also finishing with 9.  Guard Owen Thurston had several steals as he continued to be one of the team’s best on-ball defenders.  Matt Peecher played strong defense at Center and pitched in 4 points.  The Eagles also got great defense and ball handling from Guards Brendan Conaty and Sam Tanous. Forward Andrew Monti hit a couple of nice jump shots in the win, and Guard Drew Vatter helped run the point and drove some great fast breaks.
