Barrington Woman Charged With Disorderly Conduct
Police arrest Karen Marrone, 54, for screaming at and threatening a neighbor.

A Barrington woman has been charged by Barrington police with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Karen L. Marrone, 54, of 649 County Road, was arraigned on Friday, Oct. 21, after being picked up on a warrant. Her arrest relates to a Sept. 28 incident involving a neighbor, according to police.
Marrone allegedly screamed at and threatened the neighbor, 36, while he was on his way to work. Police investigated the incident and established probable cause for a warrant, Police Chief John LaCross said.

Marrone reportedly refused to go peaceably to the station and got into an altercation with arresting officers who went to pick her up at her home, police said.
A matron from the East Providence Police Department was called in to search Marrone, police said. Marrone was arraigned by a justice of the peace and released.

Man arrested for disorderly conduct
A Barrington man, 20, turned himself into Barrington police on Saturday, Oct. 22, after a confrontation with a neighbor that led to a disorderly conduct charge made against him.
Lucas A. Travis, of 10 Grassy Plain Road, reportedly swore at the neighbor while walking through his driveway. He turned himself in at 4:15 pm.
E.P. man faces drunk driving charge
An East Providence man, 28, faces a DUI charge from Barrington police.
Jason Lombard, of 26 Tower Ave., was traveling north on County Road on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2:17 am when an officer observed his vehicle speeding and drifting between lanes near Fairway Drive. The officer followed his vehicle and pulled it over just south of the East Providence line on Wampanoag Trail.
Lombard had an odor of alcohol and bloodshot eyes, police said. He failed both the sobriety and Breathalyzer tests, police said. His blood alcohol level was about .23, or almost three times the legal limit.
Lombard was arraigned by a justice of the peace in the police station.
Woman distracted while driving
Barrington police stopped a Fall River, Mass., woman early Monday morning, Oct. 24, for driving while distracted and with an expired license.
Samantha Jeffrey, 21, of Hanover Street, was stopped around 2:24 am while driving north on Wampanoag Trail near Vitullo’s farm. She was cited for driving with an expired license and warned about texting while driving.
