Beach Day on Spring's First Day

Unseasonably warm weather drew beach-goers to Barrington Beach Tuesday afternoon.

The first day of spring drew on Tuesday afternoon a few Barrington Beach lovers to the sand and surf on another unseasonably warm day. There was a breeze for a kite flyer. And there was plenty of sun for anyone who wanted to try to start a tan.

Temperatures could get even warmer on Wednesday and Thursday this week. The forecast calls for highs in the 70s tomorrow and in the 80s on Thursday.

At least one person was looking to buy a beach pass in Town Hall Tuesday afternoon. You won't need a pass until after Memorial Day.
