B.E.S.T. Camp Session 2!

Are you - or your child - a bit creative? Imaginative? Dramatic? Looking for a nice cool place to have fun, make friends, and do a lot of creative and dramatic (and sometimes downright silly) things? Perhaps BEST is the place for you!

Over the course of the 3 week session, our campers are cast in 1-act plays which they rehearse and ultimately perform at the end of the session (Friday Aug 7 and Saturday Aug 8 at 7pm at the Barrington Library). In addition to putting together their shows, the campers also participate in a variety of theatre related workshops and activities/games... all in the glorious A/C of the Barrington High School Auditorium!

The camp is open to youths ages 8-18 and runs from 8am-3pm. This day is broken into both a morning (8-11) and and an afternoon (12-3) session - campers may register for full day or half day.

1-week campers participate in workshops and games, and rehearse a short scene over the course of the week to present in camp during the second half of the lunch hour on their last day of camp - family and friends may come see this performance if they are available to do so.

The session begins on Monday, July 20 2015 at 8am at BHS. Campers doing the full program (half day or full) are asked to prepare a short (<2 minutes) monologue. All participants are asked to bring their enthusiasm and open minds and creative imaginations!
