BHS 'Programmers' Among Best
Four Barrington High School students came home from a computer programming competition a second-place award.
Four Barrington High School students showed some outstanding computer programming skills last Monday, March 4.
The students, Haran Mennillo, Patrick McGartoll, Cram Callanan and Josh Eller, competing as a team, came home from the annual High School Programming Contest at Providence College with second-place honors.
The competition demonstrates superior mathematical and computer programming skills, according to Providence College.

The students were among 44 students from 11 high schools in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York who competed.
They used HP desktop personal computers and two designated computer programming languages to write original programs that correctly solved complex, hypothetical math problems, according to Providence College.
