Though the search effort, the family remained hopeful that he would be found safe, but there was no indication that he wanted to walk away from his life.
“All of his personal affairs are intact,” his aunt, Joan Wallack said. “This is a man who bought a new shed for his house the day before and had it installed. This is not someone who walked away from his life.”
Antons was a director at TIAA-CREF in the greater Boston area, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Antons has competed at the Ironman distance and moved to Barrington recently. He is a member of the FuelBelt Race team, which has about 150 members who participate in a variety of races and events.
