Can’t Say Can’t? Call Me
Each month a person, business, or organization that has done that which can't be done will be featured in that month's "Can't Say Can't" blog. We can all be inspired to move mountains.

Everyone has an inner yearning to accomplish the impossible – to prove the world wrong. To challenge those who tell us something can’t be done.
My mother is a brilliant woman who, with no formal training, has started a successful business, ran a church office, became a licensed banker, and currently is a college admissions counselor. The best way to get her to do something is to tell her she can’t do it. She will move mountains to prove you wrong. I am very proud to say I have inherited that spirit.
Moving mountains is what the human brain was designed for. It is a problem-solving machine. Do I have time to read the newspaper and still get to work? How do I teach my children to be respectful? How do I get my neighbor to stop putting his grass clippings in my yard?

Unfortunately, we get bogged down solving these mundane problems and we dismiss the important problems that “can’t” be solved. Can’t tells the brain to stop trying to find a solution.
Some, however, have removed that word from their vocabulary. They have disciplined their minds to move mountains daily. They are the residents of the East Bay that should be cheered and that is the goal of this blog.
