Dermatologist Opens Practice Here

A Barrington dermatologist has opened a practice in the Barrington Medical Center on Wampanoag Trail just over the line with East Providence. He is accepting new patients, according to a press release from his office.

Dr. Jason Michaels has relocated his practice from Las Vegas, where he was named the leading dermatologist by a Nevada magazine, according to the press release. He spent part of his medical training at Brown University.

“I am so excited to be back on the East Coast,” said Michaels. “My wife and I made the decision to move the practice so I could have a better balance of work and family.”

Michaels’ practice is named Aspire Dermatology. He combines dermatology with cosmetic services, including treatment for acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and suspect moles to Mohs Micrographic Surgery, according to the press release.

His specialty is cosmetic dermatology. He can address aging, sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles and saggy eyelids, according to the press release.
