Dorothy M. Butler, 86

Dorothy M. (Stewart) Butler, of Pine Avenue, Barrington, died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Warren. She was 86.

She was the wife of Albert T. Butler. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Harold W. and Emma M. (Barschdorf) Stewart. She had lived in Barrington for 55 years.

Relatives and friends may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, on Friday, Dec. 14, from 4 to 7 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11:30 am in Barrington Congregational Church, 461 County Road.

Butler was an executive secretary at the Sun Oil Company before retiring. She was a graduate of Bryant College, and a member of Barrington Congregational Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Janice M. Brancaccio and her husband, Thomas, of Norcross, Ga.; her sister, Eleanor P. Butler and her husband, David, of Lincoln; her four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joy Heintz.

Private burial will be in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Barrington.
