'Fenway Park' Author at Bookstore

Saul Wisnia signs his book, "Fenway Park, The Centennial: 100 Years of Red Sox Baseball," today from 1-2 pm.

Barrington Books offers Red Sox fans an opportunity today from 1 to 2 pm to meet the author of “Fenway Park, The Centennial: 100 Years of Red Sox Baseball.”

Saul Wisnia, a former sports and feature writer for the Boston Herald, will sign the book, which relives 100 years of memories in Fenway Park. It includes an original DVD documentary hosted by Red Sox-great Carlton Fisk.

A description of the book includes the following: “Supreme photography, a wealth of memorabilia, and original commentary by three generations of Boston Red Sox players and fans, this book celebrates the stadium in style. It also includes treasures from the Sports Museum of New England—rarely seen photographs and artifacts—that enhance the nostalgic experience.”

Wisnia also was a sports and news correspondent for The Washington Post. His is now a senior publications editor at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. His articles have also appeared in Sports Illustrated, Red Sox Magazine, and The Boston Globe. He lives in Newton, Mass., exactly 6.78 miles from Fenway Park.
