Fitness Together Names New Associate Manager
Erskine McIntosh of Providence has been a certified trainer at the fitness studio.

Erskine McIntosh, 25, of Providence, a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, has been named associate manager of , Prince’s Hill Plaza, 334A County Road.
McIntosh was a strength and conditioning intern at Fitness Together Barrington in 2008 before being hired full-time at the fitness studio. He earned his BS degree in kinesiology, is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
McIntosh replaces Lara Harrington, who left Fitness Together to open her own fitness salon in New Bedford, Mass. Harrington was a trainer and manager at Fitness Together Barrington for five years.

“I’m very pleased for Lara, who has grown during her time at Fitness Together, and now is able to branch out on her own, in her home community,” says Matthew Gagliano, owner of the Barrington and Lincoln Fitness Together. “We’re also fortunate to have someone like Erskine stop right in to assume Lara’s position.”
McIntosh, who is from New Haven, Conn., and is a graduate of Cheshire Academy, is committed to motivating people to reach their individual goals. He’s trained a variety of clients, from those recovering from serious injuries to those looking to simply improve in recreational sports.

“I want people to recognize the potential in themselves,” McIntosh says. “I want them to recognize the power they have within themselves.”
