Why go: This is a fun movie from 1987 that’s filled with adventures that will delight all ages.

Benefit Concert
Where/When
: Church Street Coffeehouse, 25 Church St., Warren at 8 pm Saturday
Why go: Singer/songwriter/sailor Donna Lange will perform, joined by Bob Philburn on banjo and guitar, and Tom Stevens of Barrington on percussion. Should be a great night out, plus all proceeds help the Warren Animal Shelter. So you can feel good about feeling good!
Pricing: Donation requested at the door, $10.

Classic Car Show 
Where/When: Bristol Town Beach at Colt State Park, Route 114, Bristol at 11 am Sunday
Why go: The waterfront setting is perfect for viewing (or showing) all kinds of cars, trucks and motorcycles. Show off your wheels, and take a look at what others are driving! The event (postponed from Aug. 7) raises money for the folks who put on the Bristol Fourth of July Parade each year. Registration is 9 am to noon. Judging starts at noon; awards ceremony at 3 pm.

“Master Class” at 2nd Story

: 2nd Story Theatre, 28 Market St., Warren at 8 pm Saturday"
Why go: It’s the final production of this beloved theatre troupe’s summer season, with performances only through Sept. 3. They’re doing Terrence McNally’s engaging play about opera diva Maria Callas.

Carousel Cruise Night

: Looff Carousel at Crescent Park, 700 Bullocks Point Ave., Riverside from 5 to 8 pm Saturday
Why go: Oldies music, games, giveaways, and food make for a perfect summer evening at the historic carousel. Did we forget to mention the classic cars?
