Great Escape: Cuddles on the Cape

The International Inn is a great place to reconnect with your honey or relax with some gal pals.

It’s been nearly nine years since I stayed at “Cuddles and Bubbles”  in Hyannis on Cap Code, but it was a trip that created lasting memories.

Almost all of International Inn's rooms include a heart-shaped or oversized Jacuzzi tub and the décor, though a bit flowery for my taste, is true to Victorian style. If you take advantage of the romantic packages offered, the suite comes equipped with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.

Each stay also comes with the standard complimentary breakfast. What I remember to be above standard was the dinner at Copper Chimney Restaurant, located right on the International Inn premises. Its cozy atmosphere lit in the evening by strings of sparkling white lights sets the mood for intimate conversation over some of the finest dining on the Cape.

On the other end of the getaway spectrum, if you and your closest group of gals want to spend a day relaxing in the pool, getting a massage and having your nails done, this is the place to do it. And you can do it all with your favorite drink of choice in-hand. If you book a “ladies night” at the inn, you also receive a complimentary three-course dinner.

Granted, Cape Cod is more attractive during the warmer months of the year, but the International Inn also offers a "winter package" for all you skiing enthusiasts. (Check out these coupons before booking your stay.) So, gather your girlfriends or pack a bag for your sweetie.
