The former Crescent Park in Riverside within sight of Bay Spring in Barrington helped to shape the life of George LaCross, an East Providence native now living in Barrington who grew up not far from the amusement park.
More than anything, the park at the end of Bullocks Point Avenue sparked his lifelong fascination with so-called “dark rides” and amusement park funhouses.
