'Howliday' Open House, 'Yappy' Hour

It's sure to be a howling success.

at 232 Waseca Avenue hosts what owner Karen Lynch believes will be the first-ever Howliday Open House and Yappy Hour on Thursday evening, Dec. 15.

"I am confident that no other local business has even hosted a Yappy Hour here in Barrington," said Lynch. "And I am excited to add it as one of the events Style Unleashed will be offering in the future."

Lynch describes a Yappy Hour as "when pets and their owners come to the salon to socialize and play."

"I am putting comfy seating upstairs for adults and plenty of toys for pets to play alone or together," she said.

For this week's Yappy Hour, Lynch said, she also is hosting a holiday open house downstairs in the salon with special discounts on merchandise.

"Please join use for cocktails and pupcakes," she said.

All holiday toys and treats will be marked down by 25 percent, she said. She is giving 15 percent off anything else storewide, and you can enter a drawing to win a $100 holiday gift basket.
