Keeping your pets safe

Went to federal Hill in Providence RI yesterday. It is a yearly event to celebrate Columbus Day. People think they are doing their pets a favor by taking them to this event. There are thousands of people loud music and all kinds of activity. These animals are all shapes and sizes. Some of them do not want to walk so are being carried. Others do not want to walk because of all the noise and people so they are being dragged to the extent of their collars almost coming off over their heads. Don't people realize that these animals would rather be home where they feel safe and do not have to be afraid of being stepped on an having their ears blown off with all the loud noise going on. Please next time think of the good of your pet. I think their would rather stay at home where they feel safe. There were so many dogs there yesterday that if a fight broke out some one would have gotten hurt bad and that someone could have been a child of even one of these animals. Please think twice before you take a pet to an event like this.
