'Kidlympics' Coming Back to Barrington

The second annual track and field event will take place April 27 as the primary fundraiser for Barrington's Red Brick School.

“Kidlympics” returns to the Barrington High School track on April 27.

The primary fundraiser for the Red Brick School on Middle Highway debuted last spring. Created as a family event with an active lifestyle theme, it includes track and field events for kids ages 3 to 10.

Track and field events last year included the 50-meter dash, softball and Frisbee throws, and a long jump. There were healthy snacks and foods available and a silent auction. See a video taken at the first Kidlympics last year.
