Last Chance: File Income Tax Forms

Your last chance to file your 2011 federal and state income tax forms without an automatic extension is tomorrow, April 17, at midnight.

Payment of your tax is still due by Tuesday. You can submit your tax payment along with the extension form.

The deadline historically is April15. But the final day for everyone this year was pushed back two days because April 15 is a Sunday and April 16 is a holiday in Massachusetts – Patriots Day -- and a holiday in Washington D.C. -- Emancipation Day.
