Local Brew Events' 5th annual Fiddle n Folk Fest

September 12 in Haines Park, Barrington-- it's FREE!

Looking for a grassroots local music fest? You don’t have to go far, as Local Brew Events’ 5th annual Fiddle n Folk Fest is in Barrington’s Haines Park on Saturday, September 12 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm (raindate September 13). Last year’s event drew hundreds of foot-tapping, hand-clapping, dancing music lovers from throughout southern New England. Come to see old friends, meet new ones, hear steadfast band favorites, and listen in awe to some newcomers.

This year promises a great variety of music including traditional, swamp fiddle, bluegrass, celtic, cajun, and twin fiddles. Performers include Cowboy and Lady, A Bluegrass Invitation Band, Mini-Magnolia, Andy Grover, Golden Bantams, Barry Brown, Sunday Night Jammers, Bay Spring Folk, Old Fiddlers Club of Rhode Island, and more! Storytellers and poets include Len Cabral, Kara Provost, and Lynnie Gobeille. Join the all fiddlers jam from 9:30 - 11:00 with Michelle Kaminsky. Sign up for the jam session at sydney_mike@fullchannel.net.

Craft vendors will sell their goods, food trucks will fill you up, lemonade makers will quench your thirst, and kids activities will keep the little ones happily moving to the beat of the music.
