Lois M. (Bishop) Davies, 89
She lived in Barrington for 16 years; celebration of her life is on Tuesday.

Lois M. (Bishop) Davies, of Bay Spring Avenue, Barrington, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Silver Creek Manor, Bristol. She was 89.
She was the wife of the late Captain Edwin E. Davies. Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Stuart and Blanche (Jenness) Bishop.
She resided in Barrington for the past 16 years, and also had a summer home in Prudence Island. She also resided in Cumberland for many years.
She was a member of the Four Corners Community Chapel, where she was a member of the choir. She loved to sail, play Bingo and spend time with family on Prudence Island.
She leaves her daughter Gail Scanlon of Scituate, her son Bruce Davies of Martha’s Vineyard, her son Mark Davies and his wife Mary of Blackstone, MA, her daughter Lynne Cabral of Prudence Island. She also leaves nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Stuart Bishop Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 10 am from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Funeral Service at 11 am in the Four Corners Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

Visiting Hours will be held today from 5-8 pm.
